As a principal and co-founder of Corporate Technologies Group, Inc., Brett learned long ago that customer support drives the success of an organization. As an experienced telecommunications consultant, Brett has help develop the culture of doing the right thing for the client that Corporate Technologies Group applies day in and day out. With the internal structure that Corporate Technologies Group has in place as well as the portfolio that Corporate Technologies Group has to work from, we can ensure that our clients are maximizing their telecom services and expenditures.
Since the inception of the company in 1999, Brett has helped with the tremendous growth and direction that has allowed Corporate Technologies Group to develop into a comprehensive telecom company.
Prior to Corporate Technologies Group, Brett honed his knowledge at Cable & Wireless, Inc. where he was a major account manager where he was a President's Club winner multiple times.
Brett graduated from Kent State University in a Business Management and Marketing Degree. He lives with wife and three children in Twinsburg, Ohio. He also is the Regional Commissioner for the AYSO Region #1026 youth soccer organization in his spare time. |
Jeff Sumner, Principal

Jeff co-founded Corporate Technologies Group with Brett Harney in 1999. As a principal at Corporate Technologies Group, Jeff applies his sales expertise and customer service focus to create positive relationships with clients.
The firm began with the idea that customer service will set it apart from the competition, and this has been proven through the tremendous growth of Corporate Technologies Group over the last several years.
Before starting Corporate Technologies Group, Jeff honed his skills in the world of local and long distance telecommunications with Warwick Communications in Cleveland. Jeff's experience with Warwick enabled him to see the need for specific focus on customer service and exceeding client expectations.
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Akron. He lives in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio with his wife and two children. He is a 2008 recipient of the 30 For The Future Award, a graduate of Leadership Hudson and is a board member of the Small Business Council of The Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce. |

Our Business Development Team is experienced in the telecommunications field. We focus on our clients and providing them with the best products and services available to fit their needs. Our team is not incentivized for selling a particular product or service. We build custom fit solutions, working with one or multiple carriers to provide long term solutions for our clients current and future needs.

The Co-Founders and Business Development Group create strong relationships from the beginning, then the Client Support Group is able to build on that relationship over time. The Client Support Group handles moves, additions, changes, and disconnects as well as service outages. They also audit customers' voice & data bills to verify the contracted monthly recurring costs are accurate.
